M.B. Dallocchio is a multimedia artist based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Originally from Northern California, she is a self-taught artist who specializes in acrylic, ink, and mixed media pieces. With a unique take on Southwestern art and pop art, Dallocchio also works in indigenous Chamorro (Northern Mariana Islands) pieces reflecting her Micronesian roots. As an Iraq War veteran, she has also become an ardent advocate for peace, promoting art as a medium to raise awareness on pertinent social justice issues and as a means to assuage trauma. MB Dallocchio is a Chamorro Iraq War Veteran fine artist from Northern California. Specializing in mixed media, pencil and ink design, and murals, she also writes on social justice issues and the artistic psychosocial rehabilitation.

Dallocchio served in the US Army between 1998-2006 as a medic and mental health sergeant. She is a former member of Team Lioness (a team of women attached to Special Forces and Marine infantry units in Iraq) and deployed to Ramadi, Iraq in 2004-2005 as one of the first women to engage in direct combat operations. In 2006, she was awarded the David L. Boren NSEP Scholarship and the Massachusetts Outstanding Woman Veteran of the Year award in 2009.

MB Dallocchio wrote the "Women Warriors" chapter in War Trauma and Its Wake (Routledge, 2012) and was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, New York Times, NPR and many other outlets covering the female combat veteran experience. She has also been featured in the documentaries "Lioness" and "The Long Road Home."

After a long road of post-war reintegration filled with both triumph and failure, she received her Master of Social Work degree from University of Southern California in 2016. As a Social Worker, she now works for a residential rehabilitation treatment company specializing in substance abuse, mental health disorders, polytrauma, and co-occurring disorders. After navigating a tumultuous journey home from Iraq, MB Dallocchio now assists severely mentally ill children and adults in navigating a new path toward a better life. She currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with her two daughters, husband, and a well-traveled Golden Retriever.
